Week in my shoes: Day Seven.

1:14pm.  A Christmas Eve walk to the beach, catching up on some Rob Bell and enjoying the 70-something degree weather.  Lovely, lovely.
A solitary walker...it was pretty much deserted today.

3:35pm.  Getting all the wet and dry ingredients mixed up for the recipe Nancy sent me: Christmas Morning Muffins, which we will be enjoying on Christmas morning.  I listened to the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols while I mixed.  And that's an apron, not a skirt, just to clarify.  I guess I didn't get my jeans in the shot.

6:25pm.  Ready for the candlelight Christmas Eve service.

Merry Christmas to all of you!  I think I'll be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the 1966 version) tonight all the way through to my favorite line of all:

"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons.  It came without tags.  It came without packages, boxes, or bags!  And he puzzled and puzzled 'til his puzzler was sore.  Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.  What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more."

Love to all of you.  I hope that tomorrow is a day of deep peace, and great joy for you and yours.

I was thinking of you as I listened to the 9 lessons & carols on the radio and mixed my wet & dry ingredients too. Hope they turned out well!

Happy Christmas to all.

Umm, have I told you how much I love these feet posts?? Cause, I do. I love them! So cute! And yes, the hair shot is super cute, but your eyes are freaking me out in the second one. I feel like you want to steal my soul.
